Each collaborating filmmaker will be credited as a “director” and be responsible for the production and first assembly of their section of the documentary, guided and supported by co-director Reuben Hamlyn, the other collaborating directors, and producers Devin Carey, Marina Charriton and Asya Segalovich. A stipend will be provided to cover expenses. This outlines the base concept for the project, but discussions with the co-directing filmmakers will take place to further develop the project.
The first assembly of their scene must be completed in Adobe Premiere Pro and delivered with all footage taken during production of the section. These sections will then be edited together by Reuben (or another editor) in consultation with the other co-directing filmmakers. There is no guarantee that your section will be included in the final film, but any decision to omit a whole section will be discussed with the co-directing filmmakers.
